I was scrolling through my feed the other day and I saw this awesome book tag from Kristin Kraves Books and I said that I need to do this right now! So here we are. The fall is my favorite time of the year, it’s not too hot or cold and the perfect time to cuddle up on the couch with some tea, a warm blanket and a spooky read. So let’s get into it!
What are your favorite Halloween movies?
Hands down Hocus Pocus and Scream are my favorite Halloween movies. Not only will I watch them multiple times this month, but I also watch them multiple times a year. I don’t think I could ever get sick of them.
What is your favorite Halloween book?
I don’t know if I would count this as a Halloween book, but it’s one of my all time favorite reads. It give you a very eerie vibe when moral codes are crossed and their since of humanity is diminished. It gave me the creeps the first time I read it.
What other Halloween books would you recommend?
I am always up for a great thriller or spooky read during this time of year, so here are a few other recommendations for you. Gone Girl was my favorite read from last year and I just finished Jane Doe and Verity (reviews coming soon) and they were the perfect reads for the Halloween season.
Do you own any Halloween ugly sweaters?
Unfortunately I don’t but I would love to order these!
What are some of your favorite Halloween costumes?
What are you doing for Halloween this year?
As of right now my hubby and I are either going to visit my mom, as her birthday is on Halloween, or we are going to have a quiet night at home while watching scary movies. Unfortunately, we don’t get any trick-or-treaters where we live so we wont be handing out any candy.
What is your favorite childhood Halloween memory?
My favorite childhood Halloween memory would be just dressing up almost every year as a witch or a black cat. They were always my go to costumes and I really never wanted to be anything else. I also LOVED to short my candy when I was done trick-or-treating, I always found that was so much fun to see everything I got.
