I honestly can’t believe we are in a new year already, it seems like yesterday was the first day of 2019. Time flies by when your having fun, right? I wanted to do a short post here about what my wishes are for the new year.
Yesterday on my way home from work, I realized that this decade I’ll be turning 30!! WHAT? I am by no means scared to turn 30, I’m actually pretty excited. Anxious, of course, but really excited for what’s to come in the next few years.
I don’t have any resolutions for this year, nor do I like to have them. This year I have wishes. I don’t want to give myself any expectations that I need to do or hit. I know for myself that will lead me down a destructive path and I don’t think that will be a great way to start out a new year.
So in the next year I will wish for the following things:
That I be the best version of myself.
That I am more consistent with this blog.
That I read 100 books.
That I get better at taking and editing photos.
That I don’t slack off on posting reviews 😳😳
That I go to my first book event.
That I be more active.
And that I try to enjoy everything I choose to do this year.
I am excited for new opportunities, challenges, and lots of growth both personally and professionally. What are you looking forward to doing this year?
